It was all going so well

Having posted a 23.30 for 10 miles at the first time of asking (Team Salesengine 10, 07/04/12). And having clocked two 25 minute 10s around the Hitchin Nomads evening 10 course, I undid all the good work by breaking my collarbone in a high speed crash near Kimpton. I say "I" but point the finger at the road surface.

Fortunately I was with a bunch of good lads who managed to get the paramedics to the scene and hoover up the debris, i.e. Mssrs Gomm, Stevenson, Spence and Young.

This will be a season in two halves I suspect. Hopefully I won't lose too much form as I spend the next 4-6 weeks healing.
